In 1947, Yugoslav President Josip Broz Tito visited Romania for the first time. To strengthen the new socialist friendship, Romanian officials presented Tito with a painting by the great Romanian artist Ion Andrescu called The Forest. Many years later, that painting is involved in a tense spy story.
