In a Parisian theatre, an actor dies on stage, poisoned. Martin, a member of the troupe and friend of the victim, is now suspected by the police and pursued by a mysterious organization called The Green Perfume. He receives the unexpected help of Claire, an eccentric cartoonist in need of adventure.
Homages to Hitchcock and… an eau de Tintin too? Worldly, stylish, and full of oddball fun, Nicolas Pariser’s film ricochets between elaborate conspiracies and little absurdities. As one of two neurotic protagonists, Vincent Lacoste moves with perfect comic bamboozlement through this crime caper.
