Brent is still struggling with the grief of having lost his father in a tragic car accident. With prom rapidly approaching, he is asked to the dance by his classmate Lola but he politely declines. However, Lola does not take no for an answer and will soon concoct a wildly violent plan for revenge.

Akin to classics such as The Evil Dead and Carrie, this disturbing, darkly comic horror film from Tasmania-born writer-director Sean Byrne (The Devil’s Candy) modernizes and amalgamates the teen romance and slasher subgenre. Charmingly boisterous yet gross and grizzly, a film full of surprises.
