The year is 2007. Mehmedalija Alić comes from Bosnia and is a miner, a Bosnian immigrant, as they call him here. He has been working at Slovenian mines for 30 years, most recently in extremely dangerous conditions, risking his life. There is a crisis and mines are being closed down.
