Transport Minister Bertrand Saint-Jean is woken up in the middle of the night by his chief of staff. A bus rolled into a ravine and he’s going, he does not have a choice. This bus crash plunges him into an odyssey through a tumultuous world marked by speed, power struggles, chaos, and crisis.

Our take

Starring the formidably eclectic (and Dardenne brothers’ regular!) Olivier Gourmet, The Minister looks at the individualistic, male-oriented essence of contemporary politics with farcical, sidesplitting humor. A well-crafted piece of comedic mastery that feels both urgent and curiously unusual.
