Our take

A grotesquely corrupt world of shady deals and assassination attempts is miraculously transformed by contact with the divine in Wes Anderson’s heartfelt treat. Michael Cera’s transformative turn is one delight among many in a meticulously designed universe merrily teetering on the edge of chaos.
