Our take
A fish out of water, a young boy braves peer pressure and vindictive authority figures in Charlie Polinger’s eerie debut, set in the ruthless world of competitive sports. Filtering growing pains through the lens of psychological horror, The Plague plunges into the muddy waters of adolescent angst.
