D’Artagnan heads to Paris where he meets three musketeers – Athos, Porthos and Aramis – and joins them to defend Queen Anne against Cardinal Richelieu’s scheming to expose her infidelity by stealing a brooch she gave to her lover the Duke of Buckingham, and the musketeers vow to get it first.
