Brendan works solo shifts in the quietest tollbooth in Wales, hiding from a criminal past. When he finally gets rumbled, his whereabouts get out and his enemies seek revenge. Meanwhile, the local traffic cop’s investigation into a minor robbery finds her at the booth at exactly the wrong time.
