The year is 1926. Albert Renaud, a young man, wants to take up acting so he can become world-famous. His acting teacher, 83-year-old Jane Pickford, tells him that, in exchange for a kiss, she’ll write him a letter of introduction to her niece, the celebrated actress Mary Pickford.
