Thomas Harlan, filmmaker, author and revolutionary, was born in 1929 in Germany. Now an old frail man, Harlan lives in a respiratory clinic in Berchtesgaden. Here he met documentary filmmaker Christoph Hübner for his portrait film Wandersplitter.
