Our take
Shot on fuzzy 16mm stock, Marie Losier’s imaginative documentary portrait of composer and filmmaker Tony Conrad lovingly matches the idiosyncratic genius of its subject. From his charmingly chaotic home, a veritable cabinet of curiosities, the avant-garde icon weaves magic out of the everyday.
