Hiroshi’s mother dies and Tora-san embarrasses sister Sakura at the funeral. But Tora-san is inspired by the courage of Hiroshi’s scholarly if emotionally remote father. Later Tora-san helps a fatherless little boy and his pretty mother who has opened a small coffeeshop in Shibamata.
