As a member of the Travellers — a gypsy-like clan of Irish descent — Bokky swindles his way through the rural South. He finds an eager accomplice in Pat, an outsider whose recently deceased father was a Traveller.

Directed by Clint Eastwood’s longtime cinematographer Jack N. Green, Traveller is the rare film that portrays the lives of Irish-American con-men and outlaws. With echoes of Peter Bogdanovich’s Paper Moon, this charming comedy-drama features one of the best performances from the late Bill Paxton.
