The story kicks off in 1989 amidst the chaos of the Romanian revolution. Juli, a 13-year-old girl, disappears from Valan, a mining town in Transylvania. Twenty-two years later, her brother Péter is investigating human trafficking cases in the city of Brașov as a police detective.
