Our take
Concluding an ‘Americana’ trilogy that includes 45365 and Tchoupitoulas, this poignant documentary by the Ross Brothers sounds a hymn to community spirit. With its quiet anatomization of border-town life amid rising violence, Western is an optimistic examination of cross-cultural collaboration.
