Our take
Released to fervid acclaim, Xavier Dolan’s foray into television is just as tonally explosive as his transgressive features. Smuggling elements of thriller and horror into the domestic drama, the daring filmmaker revives his fascination with the family home, a space of both repression and catharsis.
