She is most notable for her role as a member of the Red Army Faction. She was involved in the kidnapping and murder of Hanns-Martin Schleyer. She fled to East Germany in 1979 and became Angelika Gerlach. In 1986 her new identity was Sylvia Beyer. Today she is a trauma psychologist in the Balkans.
