Our take
A distinctly chilling response to the 1970s Dracula craze, Michio Yamamoto’s macabre vampire tale nestles among the mysterious woods of the Japanese countryside. Along the eerie hallways of a decrepit gothic mansion, the air is thick with blood-curling dread, as the pull of love triumphs over death.
