Synopsis

We open our spotlight on Hou Hsiao-hsien’s early films with his joyful debut feature: a madcap and colourful romantic comedy brimming with broad humour. Starring Taiwanese pop stars Kenny Bee and Fong Fei-fei, this melodramatic two-hander is chock-full of passion and pleasure.
