Synopsis

Italy during the ‘60s and ’70s. Brothers Accio and Manrico embody opposing political choices. Accio commits to the neo-Fascist movement, while Manrico turns to the Comunist party. Luchetti’s political comedy follows the brothers, against the backdrop of Italian sociopolitical history.

Our take

The evolution of a relationship between two (polar opposite) brothers through the prism of postwar Italian politics provides for a compelling, invigorating, and often humorous drama. A complex fusion of the personal and the political, starring an acclaimed Italian cast of remarkable talent.
