Three Palestinian women share a Tel Aviv apartment in this politically-minded debut from Maysaloun Hamoud. What begins with spirited humor soon darkens as In Between separates into distinctive strands which, taken together, survey the myriad cultural battlefronts in the fight for female autonomy.
