Synopsis

Our take

Laura Bispuri’s second work with Alba Rohrwacher sets the actor’s luminous talents loose on the rural landscape of sunsoaked Sardinia. Ambivalent toward maternal instinct and duty, Daughter of Mine delicately traces the swaying of girlhood, unfurling from humble twig to tenacious force of nature.
