Synopsis

Nicole Holofcener has been delivering relaxed yet incisive portrayals of middle-class life in New York City since 1996’s Walking and Talking. With a consistently inspired cast matched by a great script, Please Give is another welcome entry into her cinema of community, womanhood and endless wit.
