Our take
Winner of the Cannes Jury Prize in 2022, The Eight Mountains is a tenderly told story of boyhood and friendship that unfolds unhurriedly against the astonishing landscapes of Northern Italy. Luca Marinelli (Martin Eden) is magnificent once again in this gentle yet grandiose film.
