Heavily pregnant Lenore Davis and her husband, Frank, leave their eleven year-old son Chris with their friend Charley and head to the Community Hospital. There Lenore gives birth to what turns out to be a monster with a nasty habit of killing people whenever it is scared. And it is easily scared.
