Our take

Underrated Italian comedy master Mario Monicelli (Big Deal on Madonna Street) and ultimate beleaguered playboy Marcello Mastroianni (La Dolce Vita) joined forces for this bouncy satire of the male libido—an Oscar® nominee for Best Screenplay. Bonus: the classic 60s opening credits!
