Our take

Diving into the counterculture zeitgeist, Nancy Buirski’s making-of documentary shines fresh light on the Oscar®-winning gem of New Hollywood, Midnight Cowboy. With unseen screen tests and new interviews, this heady portrait of lonesome cowboys and high hustlers is given the treatment it deserves.
