Our take
The lulling stillness of a Maharashtra village hums encouragement to soften and yield in Rohan Kanawade’s Cactus Pears. In this beautifully photographed debut drama about queer desire and touch, tenderness extends even to the edges of the frame: a homely 4:3 ratio, its corners rounded to curves.
