An American WWII submarine, the USS Tiger Shark, recovers 3 British survivors – a female MD, a quartermaster and a wounded – from an allied hospital ship HMS Fort James, sunk by a submarine. But the Tiger Shark is immediately attacked by the depth charges of a German destroyer. Strange events occur.
