A snaking tale of marital infidelity and exacting, cold-blooded murder, Clouzot’s landmark thriller ended by asking audiences not to spoil it for their friends. Suffice it to say that Diabolique was a major influence on Hitchcock’s Psycho, and with an ending sure to make your heart pound!
