American exile auteur Joseph Losey made this zippy erotic thriller with one of our favorite actresses: Jeanne Moreau. Decked in mod fashion, listening to Billie Holiday while she counts lire, she’s the ferocious femme fatale seductress of this caustic, acclaimed, and rediscovered love triangle.
