Our take

A sun-dappled reverie on fleeting summers spent with family, Uğur Bayazıt’s found footage film captures the warmth and fragility of memory. Guided by a mother’s voice and echoes of the 1970s, this tender short bittersweetly evokes a place and a moment through the aching shimmer of old film stock.
