In A Mother’s Sonata, echoes of Bergman’s Autumn Sonata reverberate and are reconfigured with a dystopian twist. Coupled with the strains of Chopin, Fehmi Öztürk’s whimsical short provides a sci-fi perspective on mother-daughter relations, reimagining timeless human struggles in a novel light.
