This film made me turn into a writer and once I convince myself that I (really! REALLY!) must stop over-think every shot I ever DID think of (or dream about or daydreamed of) i'll (probably) wind up being (becoming?) a director too, too. Have this man (amongst other film-makers) on the top of my Most Influential People Ever (grandma is there too) list. He did taught me a lot. Even more than Disney and Miyazaki &Kon
The nadir of Don Bluth; no questions asked. It was apparent in Rock A Doodle that the Disney Renaissance had thrown him off his game and taken the glow he had given animation during their nadir and now was copying them. A failure in every respect and only for little children ages 2-4x
