Predictable but worthwhile film noir chock full of international intrigue and musical numbers. Affair in Trinidad is Gilda's little sister that's not as hot but still reasonably foxy and worth spending time in the back of a convertible with.
After her failed marriage to Ali Khan, Hayworth came back to Hollywood and was given this tepid, barely disguised rip-off of her former hit 'Gilda', where she plays a similar character, with similar songs, opposite a similar villain and with the same partner (Glenn Ford).
It made lots of money, and the film is entertaining as an 'oldie but goodie'. Hayworth is beautiful and saves the film from dullness.
