A rather predictable improv job with the handheld cam and dirty night shots. Yet it draws you in into a different world you suspected exists and whose flavour you almost anticipated but not entirely. This little surprise left for you makes it a watchable film. You won’t be blown away but you will wait for the ending, which is a good thing in a way.
A lizard in dirty yellow streetlight. A gasoline-spitting priest. Welcome to a Portugal you have never seen before. Loved the cinematography and universe of this movie so much that I almost didn't notice how amazing the acting, scenes and pacing worked too. A very unique and exciting experience!
