What are people saying?

  • Daniel S.'s rating of the film All My Sons

Chester Erskine earned a nomination for the first Writers Guild of America award (best screenplay dealing most ably with problems of the American scene) in 1949 with his adaptation of Arthur Miller's play. Interesting ideas about the clash between one's responsibility towards one's family and society as a whole. Recommended.
