Why?!? MUBI, there are so many other great films we want to see! A rare old silent, perhaps, even a fragment of an old lost silent would be better than this. Or a weird 60's picture or a 70's erotica. Or just take a look at your subscribers' "Want to Watch" lists, and pick something from there, I know you have that section for a reason and compile them into a master list of what we most want to see. This isn't on it.
Even as my intellect was labelling the concept as sort of hackneyed and obvious, whatever sense it is that's stimulated by effective cinema was finding itself powerfully moved. A strong short; an elegy, an accusation and a plea. I like Massadian's work.

I have only grasped this after a second view. It was totally worth it. A good sound equipment or a good headphone is required. A poem about the ending of the world as someone once knew it. A universal text. It could be about anywhere in the planet before the machines and urbanization, but it happens to be the most iconic one: America.
