A Buddhist monk preaches non-violence and forgiveness to rural villagers, Khmum-Chachak rebels, and National Army soldiers in the recent civil war. After the Khmum-Chachak destroy a village, the monk enlists the help of a government official, who sends troops to attack the rebels.
