Director Davis Guggenheim eloquently weaves the science of global warming with Al Gore’s personal history and lifelong commitment to reversing the effects of global climate change in one of the most talked-about documentary’s of all time.
This film is not currently playing on MUBI but 30 other great films are. See what's now showing
Al Gore won my respect with this documentary. Making a real case for the effect of global warming: erratic weather extremes of hot and cold. Naomi Klein's 'This Changes Everything' should make an effective literary companion piece.
DVD. I used it today as an introductory vehicle for future lessons on climate change and global warming. I had never seen it before and always suspected that, as usual, the hype had to do with the subject and not the construction and i wasn't mistaken. I didn't know that on the way there were several deviations to the protagonist's magnificence - and the way it's done is debatable. Very much so. Just pedagogical.
@ BIMA GORDHI:
Pretty much everything mentioned in "the great global warming swindle" has been discredited by the use of SCIENCE and FACT.
I believe this was a catalyst to get a consensus among the public to accept that global warming is happening.
