  • - -'s rating of the film Aramaki

At 25 minutes, the film is tedious and much of it is just time wasting until the very predictable finale. If the film had used a tripod shot instead of the constantly jittering handheld cam, this single long take could have had an actual impact. The camera could have even switched to handheld at the point of his "meltdown". The music was also poorly implemented. The ending title sequence was more interesting.
