people in the soviet-built neighbourhoods - probably is a noble cause in the postsocialist/postsoviet societies, but this was done from the perspective of the architect character, as a whim rather than because of the deep sympathy and understanding, by the means of estetization and estrangement / defamiliarization, without being really a social commentary on the developmetns that need to be commented on.
i have to write an analysis on an estonian author's book and the movie based on it for an assignment and i chose this movie. it was very different from the book but did deliver the same atmosphere, which i enjoyed. i did like the book more though.
Lo que sobresale en "Autumn Ball" es el estado de ánimo cambiante, iniciándose como un drama deprimente, luego una comedia humana, pasando por una senda melodramática, y por último cerrando con casos difusos para cada una de sus historias. Cada personaje parece tener su propia línea, andan dispersos uno del otro. Por lo demás, una historia nada compleja.
