Terrible excuse for a film I thought, but the entire idea of Aliens vs Predator was to begin with in my eyes. With that in mind, I still had immense fun watching this, as it had a great old school horror vibe, and it had great physical effects, with lots of good quality horror gore to boot. I went in not expecting much, I got it and I had fun.
It's movies like this that make me wish for a no-star rating. That, or I'll settle for big red button which when pushed will cause a random person somewhere in the world to punch the directors smack in the face.
You don't understand. This film's badness insulted me. The writers should be eviscerated. I have seen plenty of bad films, but there are shot-on-video, $1000 budgeted feature length films better than this. $40,000,000 means nothing. I did not think that something with this much money behind it could sink so low, but it does, and if it's not in my bottom 10, then it hasn't escaped the bottom 20. Why did I watch this?
Ive only seen 5min, 5min is all it took, to be honest maybe a bit more. From when father and son get facepalmed by alien spiders, to the part where a poor hobo gets yet again like all the begginings of Alien, get facepalmed also by an alien spider. Turned of the movie, and started reading the comic.
do dumb and so pointless. It tries to mooch off it's predecessors by putting in each of the ingredients including the slimy creatures and the gore with it's own twist of suburban teenage bull manure, while forgetting one vital thing: a plot
This piece of garbage is just a huge insult to both franchises. Shamelessly rips off shots from every one with nothing new to add. The only thing good was the few moments of practical make-up effects and those are ruined by horrible lighting. This is really really really bad.
