What are people saying?

  • MarcW's rating of the film Babiy Yar

The cinematography is often too theatralic, to make this film the tour de force which it was supposed to be with this topic, if it can be put into images at all. Still a moving and heart breaking "final". Films about the holocaust often have the major error, that they try to narrate. Stories may have too many conventions, to use them in showing truth.
