A young scrap metal diver working with a group of close friends out on a remote rock jetty in Manila Bay loses his close diver friend sparking a frantic search for him. The late afternoon sun gradually recedes behind evening cloud cover enshrouding the youth's mysterious disappearance. Bakal Boys is beautifully shot at Manila Bay's wide stretch of sea between container freights and Basesco's port-side village.
