Our take

Starring the inimitable Adèle Exarchopoulos and cowritten with Audrey Diwan, this thrilling film zooms from criminal underworld to teen romance, ricocheting through time and genre. Quickening pulses and breaking hearts, Gilles Lelouche’s second solo-directed feature pops with outrageous flair.
