BLACK CODE is an extremely bold demonstration of fluency in the realm of documentary craft. It is visually rich, expertly cut, and formally lithe. Many of us are well aware of many of the ramifications of portable internet-connected devises, social media, cloud-stored data, and the surveillance culture. BLACK CODE comes at this stuff in a fresh way, looking both at the system of controls and pathways to resistance.
