Critics reviews

These are actors’ films, skeletally plotted, SFX-free, and focused entirely on performances, of which (’neath some of the mightiest afros imaginable) there are numerous nuanced examples: Pam Grier, Denise Nicholas, Bob Minor, Al Jones. Drink deep.
