Our take

Summer time, and the living is easy! In Jacques Rozier’s charming, Cannes-set short film, there’s not much else to do but drive Vespas and make out on the beach. A key figure of the French New Wave, Rozier’s early portrait of youth and midcentury leisure time practically radiates seasonal horniness.
